Facilities

Angel Road Junior is the largest Junior School building in Norfolk. The facilities that we have are second to none.

As well as a large school hall we also have an excellent gymnasium

   Our environmental garden is large, well established and provides all year round opportunities to explore flora and fauna.

 We are very fortunate to own two Mercedes minibuses that enable us to take whole classes out on visits.

 A strong emphasis is placed on music throughout the school. As well as class music lessons pupils have the opportunity to learn a variety of instruments.

Our steel band is very popular. Above you can see the band performing on the steps of the Forum in the city centre and on the right taking part in a competition.

     Participation in a range of arts is something we always look to achieve. Pictured above are two pupils from over 30 who performed recently at the Theatre Royal in a production of the opera 'Figaro.' We have received an 'Artsmark' award from the Arts Council as a result of our high standards in all of the arts.

In a similar way we actively participate and compete in a wide range of sporting activities. Above is our athletics team soon after winning the City Athletic championships for the 21st time in 23 years!!

 Our school reference library has been modernised, is fully computerised and is often used to view educational DVDs on the large screen.
